Copy of a medieval sculpture

This sculpture of Mary with child of the 14th century once belonged to the parish of Brey. The sculpture found its way into the Mittelrheinmuseum Koblenz at the beginning of the 20. century. After identification of the long disappeared sculpture, the parish decided to have a copy made for the church.

The sculpture was copied in wood by Joachim Droll, Cologne and then gilded and painted in our studio.
